Keeping the Flesh Under
When your flesh begins to act up and refuse to do what you know is right Say! No you don’t flesh! I command you to straighten up because I’m walking in the light In the name of Jesus I keep my body under for I will not let you control me Because I am a blood bought, Holy Ghost filled Child of God and I am free
I have a new nature inside and I will not allow you to keep me bound Because I have been risen with Christ and no devil or flesh can keep me down My body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and my spirit man have been renewed So Satan in the Name of Jesus, I will not allow you or my flesh dominate to me so l take authority over you I am not afraid of the darkness that is in this world because I am walking in the light And by the grace of God, I will by his word and through his love do what is right So encourage yourself in the Lord because he has brought you out And when your flesh knocks you down; Just rise up again and with your voice begin to shout God inhabits the praises of his people so rejoice now because his word is true
Give him praise and thanksgivings because he will always be there to rescue you So go forth and be the overcomer that God has created you to be Because he is the source of your salvation so enjoy your life and walk in victory
