A Prayer for the President
(This prayer was inspired by a dream of praying for the president)
Heavenly Father I come before you in the Name of Jesus to pray for our president today
Open the eyes of his understanding that he may see how to say and to do things your way
Give him a Spirit of wisdom and understanding as he travels through America speaking from coast to coast
Give him a supernatural peace as he goes to bed and when he is awaken; strengthen him in the Holy Ghost
As he continues to go out and speak throughout the land
I pray that no weapon formed against him will prosper by the enemy's hand
Lord I pray that you will surround him about with leaders who can assist him in making right decisions
I pray that the Holy Ghost will rise up within him with boldness to face those who are in opposition
Lord I want to thank you for protecting him and his family each and every day
Let your light shine before him so he can walk the straight and narrow way
Lord open the eyes of them who are constantly speaking evil of what he says and do
Help them to understand that when they come against him; they are coming against you
Whether he is right or wrong; who are we to judge him in what he has done
The only one who can judge him in righteousness is you Jesus; Christ the Son
Lord we know that he is just a man and sometimes he will do wrong
But we miss it sometimes so therefore who are we to cast stones
Forgive them Lord because they are led by evil spirits who are coming against you
Open their eyes by the Holy Spirit because they know not what they do
Lord I worship you for who you and I praise you because you have heard my prayer
Thank you again Lord because every time I come to you; you are always there
I know that everything is going to be ok and all will be well
Because we as believers have authority over every demon and every devil that has been sent from hell
I will say of you Lord that you are my refuge and that you have heard my prayer
I will not be fearful or troubled about anything because I trust that you will protect our president in your care
